Three-layer Fruit Smoothie

This 3-layer fruit smoothie is the ultimate healthy breakfast! I’ll make the whole thing for a special occasion or just one layer for a quick, yummy treat.

Every layer of this fruit smoothie has almond milk in it, which gets the blender moving and adds creaminess. Otherwise, they contain unique ingredients to make each layer delicious and distinct.


Ingredients

Layer 1: Chocolate Almond Butter
  • Almond butter adds protein & delicious richness.
  • Dates sweeten it up.
  • Cocoa powder makes it super chocolaty.
  • And banana gives it a smooth, creamy texture.
Layer 2: Banana Vanilla
  • Almond butter adds protein & delicious richness.

Layer 3: Red Berry
  • Frozen strawberries
  • And frozen raspberries blend together to make an icy, sweet/tart combo.




Description

  1. In a blender, purée all ingredients of first layer to get a creamy runny final product. Set aside in freezer – just enough for it to set a little bit – before adding the next.

  2. Do the same for next two layers.
